Editing on the Mac in Final Cut Pro, I have always used Compressor. It comes standard with FCP Suite and the improvements over the years have been great. That being said, Sorenson Squeeze 6 looks mighty appetizing.

Yes it’s designed to be a still camera, but head to this Vimeo page (or check out the video below) and look at the videos from it’s big brother. The video capabilities of this $800 machine will be nearly identical to 7D ($1800)

I am a Home Theater nut. We built a dedicated room in our house with full light control 6.1 surround with two subs… Well, you get the point.
