How Do You…

site

I have had some questions recently on the compression settings for our weekly videos @ Reality Church. I thought the best way to respond would be a quick little screen cast.

If you have any questions, ask away!

  1. Thanks for posting this video. We started doing video podcasts of services and ran into some serious size/quality issues at the beginning. We use Faith Networks and they pointed us to this post and our eyes were opened to MPEG Streamclip. That program has become the final step in our process too.

We are looking to upgrade our video equipment and really like the specs and price of the Canon VIXIA HF-11. My question is with the equipment you mention at the beginning of the video.

Do you use any kind of remote controls with the camera?

Thanks for the post and taking time to read it.

    Charlie,

Thanks for watching. I’m glad this process benefits you and your team. We love it.

Our camera is operated by our intern 1st service and a volunteer or myself the 2nd service. So we don’t use any remote control. We have it set on a cart that we use to store tables to get the camera and tripod up in the air. If you’re interested here is a link to the tri-pod we use. http://bit.ly/8TfcoR

I hope this answered your question!!
